L’Taken

Our Hebrew High class had the opportunity to partake in the Bernard and Audre Rapoport L'Taken Social Justice Seminars for teens held in Washington, DC for four days of advocacy and action from December 9–12. In October, our students learned about the end and beginning of the Jewish year and the lifecycle associated with it. Our youngest students created shofars of their own to mimic those blown in synagogue services on Rosh Hashanah and at the end of Yom Kippur.
