Saturday: Torah Study and Shabbat Service (Multi-access) Saturday, November 16, 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Our Saturday worship experience begins with Torah study, which goes from 9:00–9:45 a.m. This will be followed by services beginning at 10:00 a.m. (online and in person). At the conclusion of the service, the community is invited to join us in the social hall for a potluck pescatarian kiddush luncheon!
Sunday, November 24, 2:00–4:00 p.m. Are you a Sisterhood member? Would you like to participate in a fun afternoon of latke taste-testing and schmoozing? Lynne Beresford is hosting this event this Sunday in her Milton home. This is not the official Great Sisterhood Latke Fry, but these taste-testing results will determine which recipes are put to use for that event on December 15. Space is limited and the deadline to register is tomorrow, November 22, so claim your spot fast! The first 18 Sisterhood members to text or call Lynne at (206) 353-8183 will be registered. Parking is a challenge, so try to get together with other members in order to carpool. Registrants will be contacted with more details.
Associated Ministries Annual Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude Tuesday, November 26, 6:00 p.m. AM’s annual Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude service is one of the most exciting and unique interfaith gatherings each year. For 36 years this service has brought together people of many faith traditions to inspire each other by being together in grateful community. Judaica Shop Hanukkah Pop-Up Shop Sunday, December 8, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Join us in the social hall for this special Judaica Shop pop-up event! Shop with us for gelt, gifts, wrapping paper, dreidels, décor, hanukkiyot, and more! We also have Hanukkah merchandise in the shop through the end of December, with new merchandise added each week.

Latkepalooza! Tuesday, December 24, 8:00–11:00 p.m. Join Jconnect Seattle for a joyous and bright pre-Hanukkah party on Christmas Eve. With a latke bar, DJ, and a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available, it's the place for Jewish 20-30 somethings to be for the night! To enhance the festiveness of the evening, everyone is invited to get dressed in their finest. Black tie is optional; you can also wear your most fun and festive Hanukkah apparel! The first four TBE community members who want to go will get in for free—otherwise, tickets are $25 per person through December 16; ticket prices will increase to $36 on December 17. Free Thanksgiving Turkey and Meal Options
The Tacoma Police Department and Tacoma Ministerial Alliance are partnering to provide free Thanksgiving turkeys for families on a variety of dates. They are also supporting three locations that are providing free meals on Thanksgiving day. Bubbe Buddies
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring TBE members to join our popular Bubbe Buddies program, now expanded to include zeydes too! You will have the wonderful opportunity to engage with our preschoolers by reading Jewish stories to them. Imagine yourself seated in a special chair, sharing a beloved Jewish story with a little one who will be holding a cherished Bubbe Buddy stuffed bear. All the books will be available at Temple — just bring yourself and your love for storytelling! The program takes place every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and is slot-based (pick a Sunday that works for you). Interested? Email Stacy at nslappin@yahoo.com.

Judaica Shop Hours The Judaica shop has officially opened! Our regular hours are as follows:
Sundays: 9:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
Fridays: 5:30–6:15 p.m.
We are still in need of volunteers to ensure the shop can always be open during regular hours. Please email Connie Person and Aubrey Sagalovich at judaica@tbetacoma.org to volunteer or to schedule a shopping appointment outside of our regular hours. We look forward to seeing you soon at the shop!
