Saturday: Torah Study and Shabbat Service (Multi-access) Saturday, November 9, 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Our Saturday worship experience begins with Torah study, which goes from 9:00–9:45 a.m. This will be followed by services beginning at 10:00 a.m. (online and in person). At the conclusion of the service, the community is invited to join us in the social hall for a potluck pescatarian kiddush luncheon!

Lamed Vav Speaker Series: "A Tale of a Whale and Other Marine Mammals" Thursday, November 14, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Join us for an insightful talk about the Puget Sound's marine ecosystem, featuring Rus Higley, Director of Highline College's MaST Center Aquarium. He will discuss the troubling decline of our orca population, as well as educate us on common misconceptions about rescuing mammals on the beach. Additionally, Rus will share his experience leading transformations of deceased whales into educational skeleton displays. With over 20 years of work in marine biology and environmental science, Rus brings a wealth of knowledge to this important discussion! This is a free event sponsored by Lamed Vav. Associated Ministries Annual Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude Tuesday, November 26, 6:00 p.m. AM’s annual Interfaith Celebration of Gratitude service is one of the most exciting and unique interfaith gatherings each year. For 36 years this service has brought together people of many faith traditions to inspire each other by being together in grateful community. Come Hear Cantor Fine and Joel in Concert Saturday, December 7, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 8, 3:00 p.m. This invitation comes from Cantor Fine! He and his husband, Joel, have joined the Northwest Repertory Singers here in Tacoma and invite you to a December Holiday concert. Judaica Shop Hours The Judaica shop has officially opened! Our regular hours are as follows:
Sundays: 9:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
Fridays: 5:30–6:15 p.m.
We are still in need of volunteers to ensure the shop can always be open during regular hours. Please email Connie Person and Aubrey Sagalovich at judaica@tbetacoma.org to volunteer or to schedule a shopping appointment outside of our regular hours. We look forward to seeing you soon at the shop!
