Saturday: Torah Study and Shabbat Service (Multi-access) Saturday, July 27, 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Our Saturday worship experience begins with Torah study from 9:00–9:45 a.m. This will be followed by services, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (online and in person). At the conclusion of the service, the community is invited to join us in the social hall for a kiddush luncheon!

Home of Peace Genizah Opening and Annual Cemetery Cleanup Sunday, August 11, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. The Home of Peace Cemetery Association invites the entire community to participate in our annual clean-up day. Please plan to come for an hour or two to perform the mitzvah of washing headstones. All supplies will be provided. This year Rabbi Gorban will lead a brief ceremony at 12:00 p.m. as we carry out the ancient tradition of burying damaged or old sacred books in a genizah. Save the Date BBQ Bash for All Ages Sunday, August 25, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Bring your beach chairs, blankets, and favorite lawn games or toys and join us for a BBQ on the TBE lawn! We will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie options. The community is asked to bring a side dish or a dessert to share (dairy free). We are also holding a pie contest, so be sure to bring your entry! Volunteers are needed, please contact Mady Plumer at membership@tbetacoma.org. The event is free, but we do ask that you RSVP here so we know how much food to buy.

Volunteers Needed for High Holy Day Mailing Friday, August 23, 1:00–2:30 p.m. We are seeking a few volunteers to help prepare the High Holy Day informational booklet to be mailed. This will include sorting, labeling, and bundling the booklets as well as dropping them off at the post office. Please contact Teddy at frontdesk@tbetacoma.org to let us know you'll be there to help!
Volunteers Needed for Oneg Setup & Cleanup Please sign up to volunteer for oneg setup, cleanup, or both! Note that you must have a food handler's license in order to prepare food during setup. Judaica Shop Hours TBE Sisterhood is looking for volunteers to work in the Judaica Shop. Please contact Trish McCloy-Ross at (253) 691-6294 or pmccloyross@gmail.com if you have any questions.
The summer hours for the Judaica Shop will be Fridays from 5:45–6:45 p.m. before services and during the oneg. The shop will be closed the entire month of August and will reopen in September. The jewelry sale continues with all items 20% off.
