Saturday: Torah Study and Shabbat Service (Multi-access) Saturday, May 25, 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Our Saturday worship experience begins with Torah study from 9:00–9:45 a.m. This will be followed by services, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (online and in person). At the conclusion of the service, the community is invited to join us in the social hall for a kiddush luncheon!
Meeting Information (Note Thursday date) Thursday, May 23, 7:00 p.m. (Oneg at 6:00 p.m.) Meet and vote on our newest potential board members, vote on amendments to the bylaws, and hear select committee, staff, and officer reports, and updates on temple projects. We need a quorum (a minimum of 50 adult members in good standing) for voting to be possible, so please be sure to attend!

JCIJ: Accompaniment Training Sunday, June 2, 1:00–4:00 p.m. At this training with the Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice (JCIJ), participants will gain an understanding of the foundational principles of accompaniment, why and how people are currently migrating to the US, relevant aspects of the US Immigration System, immigrants’ rights, and what JCIJ volunteers do in each accompaniment situation. Senior Farmers Market From May 1–October 1, eligible seniors can apply for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program and receive funds to purchase produce from participating farmers markets and roadside stands. If approved, you will receive an Electronic Benefits Card with $80 preloaded for the season. Teen Leadership Council Teen Leadership Council (TLC) brings students together online to grow their knowledge of Israel, learn how to effectively combat antisemitism, and develop leadership skills. It is open to all high school students. The TLC members meet virtually five times during the semester with StandWithUs professional staff to cover various educational topics and to engage with their peers. At the end of the program, TLC helps participants create an educational program for their peers in their schools and communities. Interested teens should apply here.

If you're wanting to purchase candles, cards, or other items and cannot make it on Friday when the shop is open, please call the TBE office at (253) 564-7101, and you will be directed to the Judaica Shop voicemail to schedule an appointment. Appointments can be scheduled from Tuesday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
