Mishloach Manot 2025

Each year, Sisterhood lovingly prepares complimentary Purim boxes filled with treats for every TBE household, fulfilling the beautiful mitzvah of mishloach manot—giving gifts of food to friends and family. This act of giving strengthens our bonds and spreads Purim joy to all.

We encourage you to join us in fulfilling this mitzvah together! When you make a donation, your name will be added to the special card included with the Purim boxes given to all TBE members. Let our TBE family know that you care by making your donation today!

WHAT IS MISHLOACH MANOT?

Mishloach manot—meaning "sending of portions"—are gifts of food traditionally exchanged on Purim as a way to foster friendship and joy within the community. This beautiful custom comes from the Scroll of Esther (9:19), which instructs us to send gifts to one another as part of the Purim celebration:

"...and make it a day of merrymaking and feasting, and as a holiday and an occasion for sending gifts to one another."

WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE IN THE FUNDRAISER?

Do you want...to help bring enriching programing, fun events, and snacks to all the kids in our TBE community?

Do you want...to keep seeing annual community events such as Break-the-Fast, Purim boxes for every TBE household, the Sisterhood Shabbat, the Women's Seder, Vashti's Banquet, and fun food events like hamantaschen bakes and latke fries?

Do you enjoy...coming to temple for meals and music?

Participating in our Mishloach Manot fundraiser allows you to support it all—and take part in the tradition of giving gifts of food to family and friends in celebration of Purim at the same time!

Select your giving level today and support Sisterhood while fulfilling a mitzvah!
