High Holy Day Appeal 5785

As a community we have been given a gift that allows our congregation to fulfill our High Holy Day commandments: t’shuvah—we have a congregational home to return to year after year; t’filah—we have a safe place to worship and extraordinary clergy who that will lead us; and tzedakah—we have a community that is dedicated to justice and acts of kindness and righteousness.

We have this community because, for generations, individuals have given generously to our High Holy Day Appeal. We rely on this generosity of our members and supporters to sustain and enhance the programs, services, and community that are so important to us all. Your contributions enable us to:
  • Offer inspiring High Holy Day services, weekly Shabbat services, and other important celebrations that bring us together.
  • Provide educational programs for all ages, fostering a love of learning and Jewish values.
  • Support social action initiatives that make a tangible difference in our community.
  • Support temple operations and maintain our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
This year, more than ever, your support is crucial. As a congregational president and a lifelong congregant, I invite you to participate in our High Holy Day Appeal and make a donation in an amount that is meaningful for you.

Your generosity allows for our temple to sustain, engage, and thrive. My appeal is that, when you decide to give, you do so with n’divut ha-lev, generosity of heart. Through our actions, together, we will maintain and grow our community.

Gregory Kleiner
President, Temple Beth El Board of Trustees
